The Custom House Maritime Museum
gratefully announces “Community Day” at
On Monday, October 10, 2005,
- Columbus Day -
West Marine (New London store only)
will donate 5% of all sales
to the New London Maritime Society to benefit the Custom House Maritime Museum
at 150 Bank Street in New London, CT.
For your convenience, the store is open 10 am - 8 pm.
As a result of Community Day 2005, Krystal Brule, the manager of New London's West Marine store, presented a giant $200 check - as well as a smaller one that would fit in an ATM - to Ben Martin and Anne Marie Foster of the Board of Trustees of New London Maritime Society. She hopes that this can become an annual event and perhaps yield a larger check in the future.
